Private lessons

Competitive scholarships are available for current Academy students in the areas of voice, piano, strings, guitar, woodwinds and brass.

Post Secondary Music Studies

The Joanne Patricia Stoutjesdyk Memorial Scholarship is a competitive award for classical music students pursuing a teaching career in music at an accredited college or university

The 89.5 The Hawk scholarships are open to post-secondary music students in any area of musical studies at an accredited college or university

Bursaries

Through the generosity of the late Charles Lygo, the Academy is able to provide financial assistance for students in our community who would not ordinarily be able to afford music lessons.

Applications and Deadline

Bursary applications are available from the Academy office and scholarship applications are available from the Academy Principal. All scholarship and bursary applications are due at 4:30 pm April 1 of each year. (If the 1st falls on a weekend, applications are due the following Monday.)
