Suzuki Piano and Suzuki Violin (ages 3+)

Dr. Shin’ichi Suzuki’s program of instruction is based on the belief that children learn to play musical instruments as naturally as they learn to speak. This “Mother-tongue Method” of teaching recognizes the unlimited potential in every child.

Children are encouraged to learn music by listening and imitation, repetition, and receiving praise and encouragement in a positive learning environment both at home and in class. Students learn by listening and repetition of basic skills before printed music reading is introduced.

They will develop camaraderie, repertoire, and confidence enabling them to perform comfortably together on stage. One of the basic concepts of the Suzuki method, group lessons will prove invaluable in your child’s musical growth. This ensemble is required for private Suzuki violin students.
